Applying to Nursery

Children may attend Nursery at Kenningtons Primary Academy from the term after they turn three years old.

To apply for a place at Nursery, please collect an application form from our School Office.

Applying for a Nursery Place?

If your child was born between 1st September 2022 and 31st August 2023, you must apply for their Nursery place for September 2026

Applications must be made by Monday 31st March 2026

Applications received after the closing date are treated as late applications.

Nursery Uniform

Pupils in our Nursery wear a modified version of our school uniform – it sets the routine for the morning of nursery day, it keeps all the other clothing safe from those messy play and garden activities that happen and it helps identify the group if/when Nursery are on a school trip or event.

Girls

  • White polo shirt or Kenningtons logo polo shirt
  • Navy blue jumper or cardigan or school logo sweat shirt or cardigan
  • Navy blue tracksuit bottoms
  • Navy blue and white summer dress
  • White or grey socks or grey tights
  • Black shoes or trainers or boots.

Boys

  • White polo shirt or Kenningtons logo polo shirt
  • Navy blue jumper or school logo sweat shirt
  • Navy blue tracksuit bottoms
  • White or grey socks
  • Black shoes or trainers

Please make sure your child brings in a pair of wellies to be kept at Nursery.
