By the end of a child’s time at Kenningtons, we aim for them to achieve the following:
- I am able to make links between different subjects. I can use a range of skills and apply them in a new context.
- I have learnt about the world I live in and how it came to be.
- The experiences I have had at school, have helped me with my understanding of the world and the people who live in it. This has made me a more caring and tolerant person.
- Because of what I have learnt, I am able to critique, reflect and evaluate which help me to make my own decisions.
- I understand that making mistakes help me to learn.
- The themes and the skills I have learnt about have encouraged me to be a life long learner who aspire to be as successful as I can be.
- The creative curriculum I have experienced, has taught me to take risks.
- Learning is meaningful to me because I have had experiences both in and outside of the classroom.
- My teachers made me want to find out and learn more.
- Through appropriate challenge, I have had the opportunity to become the best learner I can be.
- I feel confident to express my opinions and appropriately challenge the opinions of others.
- I can work both independently and as part of a team.
