Nursery Admissions

Children may attend Nursery at Kenningtons Primary Academy from the term after they turn three years old. To apply for a place at Nursery, please collect an application form from our School Office. Our Nursery Admissions Policy can be found under the Policy Tab.

Primary Admissions

Children that attend the school nursery do not automatically transfer to the main school. Each child has to apply to the council for a place. Applications usually start in the October prior to the year your child is due to start and have a closing date of January. You then receive your offer usually in April. You are able to apply on-line or by post.

If you apply on-line you immediately receive an email confirmation that your application has been received and when you are offered a school you will receive this by email also. This means that you often find out a lot quicker.

Admission criteria

Although you apply directly to the council for a place at Kenningtons the school Governors are then sent a list of the applications and rank the applications.
